With the rampant COVID-19 pandemic situation and the high risk of cross-infection in international travels, the Embassy recommended the principle of "travel only with essential and urgent purposes".

The requirements of applying for Health Code (HS) or Health Declaration Certificate (HDC) are revised as follows:

1. All passengers who are to fly from Latvia to China are required to transit only once. They are required to upload their itineraries and the proof of residence in Latvia (passport, residence permit or visa etc.) in addition to the previous requirements (foreign passengers please click here: http://lv.chineseembassy.org/eng/xwdt/t1836398.htm). If your itinerary fails to meet the above-mentioned requirements, it will result in failing to obtain the Green Health Code (for Chinese passengers) or Green Health Declaration Code with "HDC" Mark (for foreign passengers).

2. All passengers are required to take both nucleic acid (PCR ) and IgM anti-body (SARS-CoV-2 IgM) tests . If they have received Covid-19 vaccine, they are required to upload the vaccination proof as well. The vaccination proof should contain the name, brand of the vaccine, dates of vaccination (first injection, second injection), stamp and signature of issuing agent or doctor.
