Notice on Further Adjustments to visa and Entry Policies for Foreigners to China

In order to further facilitate the exchange of Chinese and foreigners, the following adjustments to visa and entry policies for foreigners to China will be effective from 0:00 on March 15, 2023, Beijing time:

1. The entry function of visa issued before March 28, 2020 and within the effective period will be resumed.

2. The Chinese Embassy in Latvia will resume the review and issue of all types of visa for foreigners to China. Please refer to the relevant instructions for details.

3. Port visa authorities will resume the review and issue of all kinds of port visa for legal reasons.

4. Visa-free entry to Hainan province, visa-free entry for cruises to Shanghai, visa-free entry to Guangdong province for foreigners from Hong Kong and Macao and visa-free entry to Guilin, Guangxi for ASEAN tourist groups will be resumed.
