The 9th Latvian Preliminary Round for Chinese Bridge-Chinese Proficiency Competition, sponsored by the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Latvia and co-organized by the University of Latvia, the Confucius Institute of University of Latvia, the Confucius Centre of Riga Stradins University, Vidzeme University , Riga Culture Secondary School, Riga No.34 Secondary School and Riga No.68 Secondary School will be held at 10:00 am, on April 24, 2012, at University of Latvia (Add: Raina Bulv 19, Riga).
Sponsored by the Office of Chinese Language Council International and co-sponsored by the Education Commission of Hunan Province, the semi and the final round will be held in China in July 2012. All Latvians are welcome to participate in the competition. The registration work will begin on March 27, to April 10, 2012.
