The 6th Latvian Preliminary Round for Chinese Bridge-Chinese Proficiency Competition, sponsored by the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Latvia and co-organized by the University of Latvia, the Confucius Centre of Riga Stradins University, Vidzeme University College and Riga Culture Secondary School, will be held at 10:00 am, on May 8, 2009, in the Red Hall of the Embassy(Add: 5 Ganibu Dambis).
Sponsored by Hanban and co-sponsored by the Education Commission of Hunan Province and Hunan Provincial Broadcasting Bureau, the semi and the final round will be held in China from July 9 to August 7, 2009. The theme of this competition is: Fun with Chinese, Hope of success. To learn more about the semi and the final competition in China, please visit the official website of Hanban: www.hanban.org .
All Latvian Citizens are welcome to participate in the competition. The registration work will begin on March 26, 2009 and end on April 25, 2009. The registration form can be downloaded through the Embassy's website and more information of Chinese Bridge Competition can be found in the website.
